For many people their Wedding will be the most important day of their lives and choosing the right music is an important element in the making of the special day. Music is used at several key moments during the ceremony and a single CD cannot possibly provide enough choice for the whole occasion. This set dedicates a single disc for each key moment: the entrance of the bride, music for during the ceremony, music for the signing of the register, recessionals for the exit of the bride and groom, and finally, relaxing music to welcome the guests at the reception. Recognising that restrictions are sometimes imposed on weddings held outside of a church, the music for during the ceremony is spread across two CDs with a selection of sacred music, including hymns, on one, and secular music suitable for use in civil ceremonies on the other.Artists include The Choir Of King's College, Cambridge, Stephen Cleobury, H kan Hardenberger, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Sir Georg Solti and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.
