'Decadence' is a live compilation that celebrates ten years of Besser & Bravura's existence - incorporating a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, classical, pop and folk music.

Performing together since 1999, Bravura has appeared at the NZ International Arts Festival, Taranaki Arts Festival, and WOMAD. They have toured New Zealand 3 times and their tango recordings have been featured by the Royal NZ Ballet and the Touch Compass Dance Company. Bravura is regularly broadcast on Concert FM, and incorporates a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, classical, pop and folk music.

Jonathan Besser (piano/director):
Born In New York City. Resident in New Zealand for 30 years. Has composed for orchestras, chamber groups and dance companies. He's been directing his own ensembles since the mid 80's, and has released numerous commercial recordings including Mr. Darwin's Dances, You Got Your Wish, and Two Islands.

Miranda Adams (violin):
Miranda is Assistant Concertmaster for the Auckland Philharmonia. She is expert in many kinds of musical performance, from Gamelan to electric fuzz violin. She also records for Concert FM; she's touring with Tatiana as 'Vivo' for Chamber Music NZ in March 2005 and with Arts on tour in 2006.

Tatiana Lanchtchikova (accordion):
Recent arrival to New Zealand from Siberia, Tatiana is an exciting and intense musician, who is already in big demand in Auckland, performing in her own Tango band and with composer Don McGlashan.

Nigel Gavin (guitar):
One of the best and most innovative guitarists in New Zealand. He has performed internationally with the likes of Robert Fripp, the Jews Brothers and the Nairobi Trio, and founded Gitbox Rebellion. His 2004 solo guitar album 'Thrum' received critical acclaim.

Peter Scott (bass):
Has played bass with every leading jazz group in Auckland. In England he was bass player for the 80's group 'Madness'; he has recorded with Greg Johnson and now appears regularly in Australia and New Zealand with the Jews Brothers and French toast as well as 'Bravura'.
